Why I Launched Executive Edits

I've observed an audience, including myself, fatigued by excessively serious, formulaic, and lengthy business and leadership articles.

The challenge lies in condensing the essence and avoiding unnecessary inflation; while 30 words may effectively convey the message, some writers extend their content to 300 words unnecessarily.

To tackle this, I aim to craft succinct yet enlightening pieces, honoring the valuable time of business readers while delivering compelling insights.

The premise of Executive Edits is straightforward.

Write articles and share insights on leadership, business and career trends, and the future of work - we live in these topics daily.

Drawing upon my experience, I have collaborated with influential leaders, utilizing social science, emotional intelligence (EQ), behavioral assessments, and sometimes challenging assumptions for our clients and candidates.

In this space, I share insightful observations, emerging trends, relevant links, and ideas that have captured my attention and inform the reader.

This perspective aims to inform business readers and acquaintances of the firm while providing new insights into my evolving views on our work at Allen Associates.

I don't need anyone's permission; I'm sharing my perspective and why it's helpful and worth sharing.

I understand the importance of brevity without sacrificing substance.

As ever,

Michael
